Week 9
1. What did you do in lab today?
- This week in lab we started our earth science unit. We then worked on a timeline of historic events that have happened in history. It was so interesting to see just how complex the history of our planet is, and that in comparison to the timeline of it's life, that we have barely made a blip in its life.
4. Textbook: - What did you learn?
One thing that I learned from the reading this week was that flowers are not that old. I don't know why but that honestly really stuck out me. I think it is so interesting looking at the timeline and seeing how everything is connected. It can be really hard to understand that in the big picture, we are all so new. - What was most helpful?
The thing that was most helpful from this chapter was the diagrams that they chose. As I mentioned, it can be really hard to actually understand just how old the earth is and the diagrams that put it in the form of a clock is a lot more easier to see how everything is connected. - What do you need more information on?
I would really like more information on the dinosaur period. I think that is really interesting and I am kind of confused how that all ties into everything.
5. What questions, comments, and/or concerns do you have?
One question that I have is about the snowball earth: is there ever a chance of this happening again?
