Week 13

1. What did you do in lab today?
The first thing that we learned in lab this week was the difference between weather and climate. We then moved on to discuss more on how to teach climate change correctly. We got into groups and had to analyze different forms of data to explain how we can tell that change is happening in our environment.
2. What was the big question?
- how do we know the gold finch is in danger?
- how can we tell from the climate data?
3. What did you learn in Thursday's discussion?
This week in lecture we talked a lot about climate change and how human beings are involved. Starting from whether people actually believe, predictions, and what can and has been done.
4. Textbook: - What did you learn?
One thing that I learned from the book this week was the things that will happen in Iowa due to climate change. It was interesting to learn more about what is actually going to happen where we live. and terrifying. - What was most helpful?
L.O.W.E.R was very helpful to get me to understand what determines the climate of an area. - What do you need more information on?
I would like more information about the gold finches. They are like my favorite and I want to help them.
5. What questions, comments, and/or concerns do you have?
What can we do as a university, like maybe more in the college of ed?
