Week 12

 

1.  What did you do in lab today? 

This week in lab we began our conversation on climate change. We helped work on the question of why the goldfinch is in danger. We looked at precipitation data in the state of Iowa to see how that is having an effect. We learned that as the temp rises, so does the evaporation and precipitation, which is having negative affects.

That Iowa's habitats are literally changing. 

• What was most helpful? 

. It was helpful to see this on a color coded map. I was interested in my hometown area. 

• What do you need more information on? 

How soon will this happen?????? How fast will we lose species? What other species will go first?
